Founder & CEO — Gino XXL Entertainment, G&D Enterprise Europe, ABN Modelling Agency & AGENCY Wear

George "Geronimo" Sam-Korsah, professionally known as Gino, is an entrepreneur, civil engineering graduate, activist, and cultural producer dedicated to connecting Afro-descendant communities across the Western Hemisphere — the United States, Europe, the Caribbean, and the African continent. Through music, media, fashion, and cultural initiatives, he promotes unity, collaboration, and cross-cultural exchange within the global African diaspora.

Born in Ghana, with family roots in Saltpond, Oman Kɛse (Mankessim), and Cape Coast along Ghana's historic Central Region coastline, Gino comes from an area closely connected to Ghana's political independence history. Saltpond is also associated with Sir Arku Korsah, Ghana's first Chief Justice and a founding member of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences. His passion for music, arts, and culture was inspired by the traditions, literature, and cultural heritage he was exposed to during childhood, and by his late father's love for acoustic guitar music.

Gino's journey into music and culture began at an early age. During senior high school, he studied General Knowledge in Art while serving as both an executive member and participant in the school choir, alongside developing a passion for rap music and later DJing. During his college years, he earned the nickname "Nibees," an anglicized adaptation of the Ga word for "things," reflecting his ability to juggle multiple pursuits while maintaining a strong academic focus. Later, in Amsterdam, he became widely recognized within the underground music scene as "Gino XXL" — a name that would evolve into both a creative identity and a business brand.

While studying Civil Engineering at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen, the Netherlands, Gino founded Gino XXL Entertainment — a music label, artist management, and event promotion company working across Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Dancehall, Highlife, and Afrobeats.

Highlife & African Heritage
Rooted deeply in his Ghanaian heritage, Gino maintains a strong connection to Highlife music and African cultural traditions. Through Gino XXL Entertainment, he engaged and collaborated with legendary Ghanaian Highlife and Afrobeats artist the late Ebo Taylor, with whom he also shares family ties in Saltpond — work that contributes to strengthening the bridge between traditional Highlife and contemporary African sounds.

Afrobeats (New Wave)
A significant breakthrough in Gino's music industry management career came when he secured one of the earliest international bookings for an award-winning Ghanaian Afrobeats/Hiplife/Highlife group to perform at the Made In Africa Festival at Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam — one of the first major modern Afrobeats and Hiplife concerts in the Netherlands. He later managed the group's first and second tours in the Netherlands and co-DJ'd alongside DJ Henry X during their debut Dutch performance at Made-In-Ghana Events in Amsterdam Southeast in 2010. Another milestone was booking Ghanaian Afrobeats star Castro Underfire for the Glasgow African Festival during the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Hip-Hop & R&B
Gino's foundation in Hip-Hop and R&B culture dates back to his early years as a rap enthusiast, amateur rapper, radio personality, and DJ. His radio and media career officially began between 2007 and 2009 at Radio Razo in Amsterdam, co-hosting and DJing entertainment programs on a multicultural community radio station. He later became co-host of the award-winning Hip-Hop Valley Show, which received the "Best Program" award at the Amsterdamse Media Prijs in 2013 alongside leading Dutch urban radio station FUNX.

Reggae & Dancehall
Gino has also contributed to the Reggae and Dancehall scene as an event promoter and executive producer, co-executive producing multiple singles and projects, including "Rise Up" by Jamaican artist Tony D Clutcheye (Clutcheye7) featuring Sizzla. The track appeared on the album My Story and was featured on Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica, which reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Reggae Chart in 2018.

Fashion, Media & Creative Direction
Beyond music, Gino founded AGENCY Wear and co-founded ABN Modelling Agency under the umbrella of G&D Enterprise Europe — a creative platform supporting models, designers, and brands with a strong focus on diversity, inclusivity, and representation. Models associated with the agency participated in Amsterdam's cultural catwalk events in 2025, and Gino's work has been featured on Dutch television network AT5, including appearances connected to Amsterdam's annual cultural catwalk programming, where he contributed as an agent and creative collaborator.

Vision & Impact
Across music, media, fashion, and activism, Gino's work is driven by a commitment to cultural connection, artistic development, social impact, and international collaboration. In addition to his work in the creative industries, he is an advocate for climate justice, equal opportunity, cultural diversity, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through his activism platform JUSTICE4G.ORG and related initiatives, he uses art, culture, and entrepreneurship as vehicles for awareness, empowerment, and global unity.
